Stargaze from your king-sized bed, cocooned in the mango orchard's canopy, and savor crisp percale organic bedding. Ideal for nature enthusiasts, this eco-tourism gem features solar-powered amenities, water-harvesting systems, and an organic tropical fruit farm. Immerse yourself in beauty, eco-consciousness, sustainability and tropical bliss in this extraordinary retreat. Step into our enchanting glamping eco-hale, nestled just a mile from the breathtaking and world-renowned Kealakekua Bay, home to spinner dolphins and turquoise waters. This exceptional retreat sits 400 ft above sea level, seamlessly blending native Ohia posts with open-air living, forging an authentic connection to nature. Both bedrooms exude a charming "tree house" ambiance, surrounded by screened-in spaces that fully immerse you in the lush surroundings. Ascend a private stairway to the Master Bedroom, cocooned in a canopy of "Golden Glow" Mango trees. Indulge in a luxurious king bed with organic 100% cotton bedding for stargazing and star-spotting. The suite, adorned in modern bohemian style, invites you to practice yoga or simply relax. The well-equipped kitchen caters to your culinary needs, while the open-air living area beckons relaxation, surrounded by our mango orchard and lush foliage. Lounge on the couch day-bed, unwind in the reading chair, or swing gently in the hammock. Haiku ceiling fans keep mosquitoes at bay, as the neutral Bohemian Balinese decor sets a calming tone. Discover the open-air bathroom, nestled 30 feet away amid tropical foliage, boasting a standard toilet, sink, and a delightful outdoor shower with hot water and strong pressure. Rest assured, an onsite massage client may use it briefly, yet it remains private for your rental. Explore the massage hale down the path for yoga, meditation, or The Tao Within Massage services. Equipped with an amazing audio system and magical lighting, it's available before 9 am and after 4 pm. Experience farm life's charms - bugs, geckos, and even wild chickens laying eggs (the irony!). Our farm dog GiGi and friendly cats may also visit during your tropical glamping adventure. We prioritize cleanliness and offer a mosquito racket and citronella mosquito coils. Immerse yourself in the beauty, eco-consciousness, and sustainability of this extraordinary retreat, embracing the harmony of bohemian living and Hawaii's natural splendor. A true tropical glamping getaway awaits! We offer fresh fruit for sale depending on what is in-season. On the property, there are variety of fruit trees, including 8 varieties of mango (~65 trees), 3 varieties of banana, 2 variety of avocado, coconut, moringa, papaya, tangelo, lemon, lime, tangerine, suriname cherry, ulu (breadfruit), figs, lilikoi (passionfruit), Hawaiian chili pepper, lemongrass, kafir lime, ginger, tumeric. We have no control over what Mother Nature provides, so apologies in advance if fruit is out-of-season when you are here. We make herbal teas, plant-based medicine and value-added products like moringa powder, banana bread, ulu pancake batter, mango chutney and various tinctures from time-to-time, so let us know if you're interested in products we are making. In the center of the property, next to a grove of banana trees, there are vegetable and herb gardens, all grown organically with permaculture and korean natural farming methods. Please let us know if you would like fresh produce and herbs during your stay. Other things to note ~ The entire farm respects quiet hours 9pm-8am, with no music and only quiet conversations during these hours because no one closes their windows in Hawaii :-) ~ Public transportation is not an option in this area. You'll definitely need to rent a car. Even though we are only 1 mile from Kealakekua Bay, it is down a windy road (400ft climb) without a shoulder, so not the ideal beach walk :-) ~ No outside guests allowed on the farm - The Mango Farm is a place for relaxation, restoration and re-charging ~ This rental is the epitome of nature-based living. is located on an Organic Mango farm and can have mosquitos, bugs, spiders and geckos/critters. We might not, but we may! We are 120% committed to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the house, but remember, you are on a farm. There can be wild and free-roaming chickens and roosters. There are birds of all kinds, coqui frogs and you might even spot a mongoose running across the farm. We also have farm cats and although they are so sweet and friendly, they are not allowed in the screened rooms We mention all of this in case you want a fully sanitized experience - if so, this is not your best choice :-) Even though we are an organic farm, we contract with a monthly pest service to ensure the best possible experience while on the farm as well as spraying organic pyrethrums for mosquito control. We have very high standards and want this to show :-) ~ We are very easy to reach via the Airbnb app and also have full-time and on-site caretakers. We encourage you to reach out if you need anything. ~ Checkout our IG and tag us! @themangofarmlife
